An introduction to your Sewing Machine

We are excited to offer the “Get to know your sewing machine” workshop.

Do you have a sewing machine but don’t know how to use it? Is it a while since you used your sewing machine, and need a little refresh? Or want to learn a new skill? This workshop is ideal for you. In this tutor-led class, Felicity Alice will show you the basics of a sewing machine and get you started on your sewing journey.

You’ll learn:

- The different parts of the sewing machine

- Setting up the machine – including winding a bobbin and threading the machine

- Stitch length and type
