At our Art and Pottery Café, we offer a range of art activities that provide the perfect escape from your busy schedule.
Our friendly staff will guide you through painting pottery, sculpting your own pieces from stoneware clay, painting on a canvas, or dabbling in watercolours, so you can relax and enjoy the process. Whether you're looking for independent time, a family activity, or a fun outing with friends, our art activity menu has something for everyone.
Available to book every Saturday 9:30am - 3:30pm and Friday 1:30pm - 5:30pm. In quieter periods you can stay as long as you like - in busier periods your table is booked for 1.5 hours of creative time.
We also open our Art and Pottery Cafe on
Wednesdays in the school holidays 9:30am-3:30pm
(To enjoy the maximum time in busy periods please make sure your booking is 1.5 hours prior to our closing hours.)
*NEW* CLAY SPACE
A space for you to work on your clay projects independently or with friends. This is an unguided session. You can book a table for 1.5 hours hand-build or a wheel and enjoy turning that blob into something amazing, practical or fun.
(PLEASE NOTE: You must be 16 + and have completed a wheel taster or pottery course before working on this machinery independently)
Wheel hire is available to book in one hour slots on Fridays from 1:30pm and Saturdays starting from 9:30am. Please ensure you book 1.5 hours before our closing time to ensure you don't feel rushed.
One hour throwing (Non-Tutored) = £10 per person per hour and includes 1/3 of a bag of stoneware clay, triming + firing (you will need to clean your wheel in this time slot too) £5 trimming service for your pots is additional
A Glazing session - Glazing your pieces in either a decorative or stoneware glaze is £4 per piece and includes glazes and refire. Larger pieces will be charged accordingly
