About the class
Have you ever wanted to have a go at throwing your own hand made pots on the pottery wheel? Or perhaps rekindle an old hobby? Our studio is the ideal place for you to get started on your journey, offering small group sessions of up to 4 people, for a one to one teaching experience. Whether you come alone or with friends, it's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy working with clay! This relaxed 1 hour 15 minute session is fast and fun and includes experienced tutors Sarah Ashcroft or Sue Lyle to guide you. You will have 1 hour on the wheel and the additional 15 mins is for the tutor demo and clear up. You'll create numerous pots in the time frame —some will be exceptional—and you can select your favourite 2 to fire and glaze later.
