Clay Night - Sculpt Sip Rpt - Sculpt this Serene Whale

Join us for little clay making and create this serene whale sculpture for your home. Perfect for holding jewellery, dried flowers, herbs or keys. A perfect night with your partner or friends in this fun evening of getting our hands dirty in natural clay. Sarah will guide you through the process of handbuildimg with clay. This project uses thumb pots to create the basic shape, then add detail and a wash of glaze to finish.

You are welcome to bring your own ideas of what to create on the night or be guided by Sarah your tutor.

You will be guided through basic hand-build techniques to create a good slab, with letters, stencils or textures to press in and embellishments to add to create your very own personalised plaque. Pieces take approximately 2 - 3 weeks to dry and fire.  

All resources and tea/coffee included. Glazing included on the night.
