About the class
Have you ever wanted to have a go at throwing your own hand made pots on the pottery wheel? Or perhaps rekindle an old hobby? Our studio is the ideal place for you to get started on your journey, offering small group sessions for a one to one teaching experience. Maximum 4 in the class. Whether you come alone or with friends, it's a fantastic opportunity to enjoy working with clay! This relaxed 2 hour class is the perfect place to learn and settle into techniques, making as many pots as you wish with the full guidance of experienced tutors Sarah Ashcroft or Sue Lyle. You'll create numerous pots in the time frame —some will be exceptional—and you can select your favourite 2 to fire and glaze. You also have the option to fire additional pots for a small fee.
