About the class
Join us for little clay making at stART studio! This month we are learning the technique of sculpting and sgraffito (scratching the surface to decorate). Sarah will guide you through making a beautifully sculpted chicken. A perfect night with your friends or partner. Our Sip and Sculpt nights are a fun evening of getting our hands dirty in natural clay, learning to create a beautiful pieces for your home or garden whilst meeting up with friends or finding new ones. You are welcome to bring your own ideas of what to create on the night or be guided by Sarah your tutor.
The technique we will be using is scultpure, shaping and carving out the clay to create a characterful chicken. Then decorating with glaze and scratching the surface. Pieces take approximately 2 - 3 weeks to dry and fire.
All resources and tea/coffee included. Glazing included on the night.
