Stained Glass Workshop - Dragonflies and Bumblebees

Learn the wonderful art of making your own stained glass pieces. A three and a half hour workshop suitable for the complete beginner to those with experience. Elaine will bring inspiration for one off sessions or you are welcome to bring your own ideas to develop over a series of workshops.  Elaine will guide you through the five stages to produce this Tiffany style technique a finished piece you are proud of.  

During the course you will learn:  

• Pattern design and cutting  

• Choosing the glass from a selection offered on the day  

• Cutting and grinding the glass to fit the pattern pieces and shapes  

• Copper foiling - this is a tape that is sticky on the side which touches the glass, and which provides a framework for the solder.
